Nancy Catherine Wright, age 61, of Glade Valley passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at her home. She was born to Herbert McCann & Helen Joyce Caudill McCann on June 10, 1948 in Alleghany County. She is survived by her parents, Herbert Clifton McCann of Winston-Salem, NC and Helen Joyce McCann of Glade Valley, NC; one daughter, Stephanie Norman of CA; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Wayne Edenfield of Glade Valley, NC; one brother, Michael McCann of Glade Valley, NC; one grandson, Easton Norman and one granddaughter, Conner Wright, both of CA; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Grandview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Dell Rust. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers family request that donations be made to High Country Hospice of Alleghany County. A special thanks to Grandview Memorial Funeral Home for the use of there facility. Twin County Funerals is serving the Wright Family.
