Roger Dale Hodges, 64, of Galax and Grayson County, passed away at The University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA on January 2, 2010. He was born to the late James Arnold and Elsie Lou Burcham Hodges on February 25, 1945.
Survivors are three sons, Rodney Dale Hodges, David Scott Hodges both of Galax and Phillip Brandon Hodges of Little River, SC; one grandson, Phillip Tyler Hodges of Little River, SC; two sisters, Verna Mae Carico & husband, Edd and Lynda Fortner both of Galax; two brothers, A.R. Hodges & wife, Andra of Galax and Norwood Hodges & wife, Joy of Morristown, TN also survive.
Family will be celebrating his life by a visitation held at Twin County Funerals Sanctuary on Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 2pm until 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice 401 Technology Lane Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
