Raymond Floyd Kemp, age 81, of Galax passed away at Golden Living Center-Blue Ridge on January 30, 2010. He was born May 9, 1928 to the late Aid Kemp & Elizabeth Kemp Midkiff. Mr. Kemp is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Parry.
Survivors are two daughters, Elizabeth Massey & husband, Joe of Raleigh, NC and Sue Kirk & husband, Taft of Clayton, NC; one sister, Maude Lee Scott of Mt Airy, NC; one brother, Harry Byrd Kemp of Woodlawn; four granddaughters and ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service is planned for March 2010.
